Prateeksha Viradiya –Physiotherapist at Physiocare in Ottawa

Prateeksha Viradiya completed her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from India in 2010, followed by a diploma in HR. After graduation, she worked with orthopedic surgeons in an acute care hospital for five years, focusing on a variety of treatments including prenatal and postnatal care.

After moving to Canada in 2016, Prateeksha gained experience working as a Physiotherapy Assistant in Toronto’s MVA clinic. She further broadened her knowledge by completing the OIEBP program at the University of Toronto and completing internships at St. Michael’s and Sunnybrook-Schulich Heart Centre.

Now working as a Resident Physiotherapist at Physiocare, Prateeksha is certified to treat pelvic health patients, concussion and vestibular patients, and is a certified Lymphedema therapist. She also specializes in Aquatic Rehab and is a certified Aquafit instructor.

Prateeksha is passionate about serving the community, expanding her knowledge, and delivering comprehensive care. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and reading.
